A contabilidade iniciou-se empiricamente com Leonardo Fibonacci. The Fibonacci sequence is named after Leonardo of Pisa, who was known as Fibonacci. In Highschool we studied about Fibonacci Series until it haunted us in our dreams but I never knew that the origin of these numbers is .. Known as the Fibonacci sequence or the Golden Rectangle, Fibonacci's numbers were first published in the West in Liber Abaci (1202) by the Italian mathematician Leonardo of Pisa. Wikipedia explains that in 1202, mathematician Leonardo of Pisa, known as Fibonacci, published Liber Abaci which laid out the sequence. He published Liber Abaci or Book of Calculation in 1202. In his book Liber Abaci published in 1202, Leonardo of Pisa, who was known as Fibonacci, considered the problem of how many pairs of rabbits would be produced in a year, starting with just a single pair. Fibonacci's Liber Abaci: A Translation into Modern English of Leonardo Pisano's Book of Calculation. Leonardo Fibonacci e sua obra Liber Abaci. For many reasons, the book changed the face of mathematics forever. Prior to Fibonacci, mathematicians didn't have numbers like we do. Incidently he did not discover this series but had used it as an example in the Liber Abaci. This week I am reading the Liber Abaci (The Book of Calculations) by Leonardo Pisano, better known as Fibonacci. The Fibonacci sequence first appeared as the solution to a problem in the Liber Abaci, a book written by Leonardo Fibonacci in 1202 to introduce the Hindu-Arabic numerals used today to a Europe still using Roman numerals.
